I believe that healthcare is a human right. As such, Access to affordable, quality health care for all Michiganders is of the utmost importance to me. We must strengthen consumer protections and keep health care costs low, so that more families can purchase coverage and small businesses can offer coverage to their employees. Although we have made great strides in recent years – including the signing of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act – we must continue fighting to make sure our Michigan mothers, sisters and daughters receive the same opportunities as our fathers, brothers and sons.
